Qualification and Experience:

Post graduate degree in Commerce/ Economics/ Finance or related fields.

Minimum 7 years of verifiable professional experience in industries and investment-related development projects, policy formulation, project management, or a closely related field, gained through government, private sector, or international agencies. Proven expertise in the coordination, and implementation of Special Economic Zones (SEZs), industrial projects, and investment initiatives, with exposure to both domestic and international best practices including 2 years of managerial experience. Liaise with Public/Private and Chinese counterparts for industrial cooperation and investment related CPEC projects in an efficient and effective manner in the light of long term plan; mature, prioritize and facilitate implementation consistent with best practices for efficiency and effectiveness. • Provide facilitation and assistance to line ministries at all stages of a project lifecycle-in the preparation of initial project investment proposals for projects, preparation of feasibility studies, the appointment of consultants/advisor for the project preparation feasibility study where required. • Assist in approval of projects in accordance with the requirements of bilateral understandings between China and Pakistan and rules & regulations of the Government of Pakistan by providing expert advice on the structuring and appraisal of industrial cooperation projects. Assist in the identification and management of any risks relating to industrial cooperation projects. • Preparation of progress reports on industrial cooperation projects. • Any other tasks assigned by the PD
