Qualification and Experience:

Post graduate degree in Electrical (Power) /Mining engineering or related fields.

A minimum of 7 years of verifiable experience in energy management, energy analysis, audits, and sustainability practices are required. Candidates should have a strong background in energy modeling, building systems, and data analysis. Proficiency in evaluating energy efficiency measures, implementing energy saving strategies, and understanding industry standards are also required. Liaise with Public/Private and Chinese counterparts for energy related CPEC projects in an efficient and effective manner in the light of long term plan; mature, prioritize and facilitate implementation consistent with best practices for efficiency and effectiveness. • Provide facilitation and assistance to line ministries at all stages of a project lifecycle-in the preparation of initial project investment proposals for projects, preparation of feasibility studies, the appointment of consultants/advisor for the project preparation feasibility study where required. Assist in approval of projects in accordance with the requirements of bilateral understandings between China and Pakistan and rules & regulations of the Government of Pakistan by providing expert advice on the structuring and appraisal of energy projects. • Assist in the identification and management of any risks relating to energy projects. • Preparation of progress reports on energy projects. • Any other tasks assigned by the PD.
